Please note:
- Before installation there will be a gap between the gate latch and the frame which is NOT a defect and it is NOT bent.
- This gap will be eliminated after installed, and then you can cut off the tightening band.
In Step 5 :
Adjust the tightness of 4 pressure bolts until the baby gate can be opened and closed smoothly.
Note: The best installation position is that the gate gap between the gate locks is 0.04 inch ( 1 mm ).
- If the four pressure bolts are tightened too tightly, the gate lock will be difficult to open, and the bolts need to be loosened slightly.
- If the 4 pressure bolts are too loose, the gate lock will not be locked. But the gate lock is NOT broken. Just adjust the tightness of the 4 bolts.
